Description Mick 2008-11-10 15:18:31 UTC
Normally I used Random mix->Song mode all the time, which can't be shuffled.
I have a dedicated playlist of songs suitable for playing at 6:00am but I don't want to hear the same thing every morning, so I set the Boom to shuffle mode.

So I set shuffle mode on my Boom, the alarm goes off, I hear a random track from my playlist and I wake up happy.

If I then use the Boom for general listening at bed time, or use Random mix, I have to remember to keep re-enabling shuffle mode.

I'd like to be able to set shuffle mode as part of the alarm set up.

So under the playlist combo, add an option.

Shuffle playlist Yes/No

Before the alarm playlist goes off, store the state of shuffle mode, play the playlist in the alarm, either shuffled or not depending on the alarm config, then restore the previous shuffle state/volume etc when the user kills the alarm.

Max: what do you think about this enhancement, easy to implement or difficult?

I expect Max would feel this was a dupe of bug 8383, just like he did for bug 9421
Comment 3 Michael Herger 2008-11-11 00:40:00 UTC
marking as a dupe of bug 8383 - thanks kdf!
