SqueezeCenter build needed for ReadyNAS pro
Last modified: 2009-07-31 10:31:33 UTC
Matt Wise will need a ReadyNAS pro to get builds working for it. Mickey mentions Sam Feng may have one for us soon. There is at least one member of the forums requesting this.
Yep, the units are on order...
I'm working on this now...
Checked in change 23967 which is the first step at getting this working... Also checked in change 23973. Still not quite working on the x86 platform, but Justin and I are working on it actively.
Good news... thanks to Justin's help, the first working ReadyNas Pro SqueezeCenter package is available here: http://downloads.slimdevices.com/nightly/latest/7.3/SqueezeCenter_7.3~23997-i386.bin
FYI, The ReadyNas Pro is at 172.19.114.168:9000 on the Eng network. If QA wants to, you can take the unit now and put it on the SqueezeTest network and try some real players on it. I'll set this box up to do nightly updates after its moved and we can call it RN-Pro-Nightly.
Steven, can you put this into your QA set of systems for testing?
Very NICE - I'll try it immediately! When you're at it, why not add DESCRIPTIONS on the download page as well? :) Thanks again!
ReadyNAS Pro support is now available as a nightly build. The proper file name for the ReadyNAS Pro will end in i386.bin. The file name ending in sparc.bin is for the other ReadNAS models. The file can be found at http://downloads.slimdevices.com/nightly/latest/7.3/
This bug has been fixed in the 7.3.0 release version of SqueezeCenter! Please download the new version from http://www.slimdevices.com/su_downloads.html if you haven't already. If you are still experiencing this problem, feel free to reopen the bug with your new comments and we'll have another look.
