Usually i've configured "volume control = output level is fixed at 100%" and control the volume with my preamp. Today i wanted to use the "volume controls adjusts output" setting and found that this didn't work. I've tried the player UI and the SC (7.3r23774). I can set the different values but they are always overwritten/reset with 100%. I have tested the same with my nearby receiver without problems. Any specific logs which will bring some light on this issue?

config: nothing special (internal clock, no effect loop)

I am unable to recreate this error with 7.3-23787

Please try doing a Xilix reset on your transporter to see if this addresses the issue.

Or, you can do a Factory Reset via SC.  Settings > Player > Basic > Reset player preferences.

Let us know if you still have problems controlling the volume.

yes, should have done this before opening a bug here. sorry for this. I'll report back (at the weekend) after doing some resets...

hmm...was a software configuration issue (IR-Blaster plugin) on my side. sorry for the noise! as promised i'll do better tests before (mis)using this tool in the future.
