When installing SqueezeCenter on a new Windows installation, or reinstalling on a current one, I've discovered that I use a lot of time to set up the SqueezeCenter to my taste and needs. If you made it possible to save all of my settings to a config-file, upgrading or installing SqueezeCenter would be a much shorter process.

Please see Settings/Status for the path to your preference files. Most of the settings are in server.prefs.
