Description Don 2008-10-31 13:27:04 UTC
In the release notes for 7.2.1 it states that "Receiver will no longer turn on after power failure". I have installed 7.2.1 and firmware has been upgraded. After a power failure the receiver turns on. This is opposite of what the release notes state.

Some questions to better understand what happened:

- After the power failure, did your SC autostart? I.e. was it running?
- What was the color on the SBR button / led?

Thanks

- SC never experienced the power failure. It is running on a QNAP TS-509 NAS which is connected to a UPS so it never went down. SC was up and running.

- The SBR button/led was dim white (on but not playing anything).

Don: Can you reproduce this by unplugging and plugging in the Receiver? I can't with the latest version in 7.3. Or do you mean something else by "power fail"?

No I can not reproduce it buy unplugging and plugging in the receiver. I would find the receiver on whenever I received a powerfail message on my NAS from the UPS. The power interruption was for a second. The NAS running SqueezeCenter is on a UPS so it never lost power. The receiver is in another room and not on a UPS. I have not had any power events in a few weeks so the received has not been powered on in the morning.
