Description daniel 2008-10-30 12:55:46 UTC
This is copied over from bug 8967 into new case, as 8967 has been closed.

I would like to suggest a configuration option allowing manual port number
configuration for streaming content. That way, I can choose myself whether to
have the stream password protected (by leaving it on port 9000 with the UI) or
simply choosing another port and have it wide open.

This will also simplify my office scenario where some of my coworkers ask for
access to the stream, but I don't want them accessing the web interface of my
Squeezebox Duet. Its not only that people would switch tracks on each other,
but that everyone would be able to go into settings and mess things up there.

It would also be useful to have the ability to set different password on another port so that both stream and web UI are still protected, but by different passwords.
