Description Alice Shimmin 2008-10-25 12:46:57 UTC
Not entirely sure what the use case is that provoked this. I had the GUI up and in the right player pane was displayed the playlist for an instance of SoftSqueeze and the playlist happened to be a LastFM station. The instance of SoftSqueeze was quit and I used the left pane to navigate to a new track and requested it to play. It did start to playout to my SqueezeBox (although the right pane was still showing for the SoftSqueeze) but within 2 secs the Windows Service on the server PC quit. This is the error as found in the Event Viewer:

Looks as if your Scrobbler plugin needs to be updated. The only error message I see in server.log (and which is related to the message you've posted earlier) is related to it. Could you please disable it, restart SC and see whether this will change the misbehaviour? If it does, please contact the plugin author or see whether he's already updated the plugin.

I've also added a GIF attachment which shows the plugins state page from the Settings screen.

Alice: can you disable and remove SqueezeScrobbler
then try again. Let me know if you still see an error.
