Description Spies Steven 2008-10-21 14:57:19 UTC
Using Controller with r3160 I am no longer able to get past the wireless networks screen. To reproduce start with Controller in a factory reset state with r3160. Walk through a standard wireless configuration. Once you select a wireless network and enter a password notice that you are returned to the wireless networks screen. It should progress to the next screen. Selecting the same access point on the screen just beeps.

Richard, is this one for you?
Comment 2 Ben Klaas 2008-10-22 11:45:12 UTC
nah, I'll take this one

I've just successfully gone through factory reset three times without reproducing the issue in r3173. I'm troubled that the Choose Player menu doesn't always populate as fast as it should but that's a separate issue (which I think is already documented in another bug)

Steven, I don't see anything between r3160 and r3173 that would affect this, but can you try to reproduce with newer firmware. Doesn't need to be r3173, just whatever's current.

Steven, can you try to reproduce this with current 7.3 firmware?

I am able to verify that this still happens with jive_7.3_r3239.bin

Load that firmware onto a controller.
Factory reset both Controller AND Receiver
walk thought the controller setup and get stuck on Network Selection
