Bugzilla – Bug 9753
Changed Controller Name From "Player 1" now it won't control itself
Last modified: 2009-07-31 10:30:56 UTC
I changed the name of the Controller's player from "Player 1" to "Controller". Now when I try to get the controller to control itself, the only choice I get is still "Player 1" which it never hooks up to successfully -- just the never-ending circling dot "Connecting to Player 1". In looking at my server log, I see that there was a foreign key violation at some point as I was starting out with 7.3. I would be happy to send the log if it would help. My SqueezeCenter is running on Windows Server 2008, but that isn't a choice in your list. Love this product! You guys are going to make me learn Lua! Thanks. Louis Kleiman
Please leave severities, priorities and targets at defaults when filing new reports. These get set during qa reviews. thanks
Louis: can you please try the latest nightly builds. Please also put the build number of the version that caused this. You may also have to do a factory reset on your controller if it's stuck.
QA is unable to reproduce this issue with 7.3 nightly. If you still see the issue please reopen the bug.
Works fine now. Thanks, folks. Controller playback is really coming along! Nice work.
