this should be a matter of enclosing --prefix=${PREFIX} in quotes, --prefix="${PREFIX}"

I can confirm that the issue I was reporting in campfire has been resolved by checking out to a folder without a space in its name.

7.4 does not exist, re-targetting to 8.0.
