the url for the song title in the search ends up like:
http://fallacy.org:9000/songinfo.html?itempath=&player=00%3A04%3A20%3A05%3A05%3A00

as opposed to this from the advanced search:
http://fallacy.org:9000/songinfo.html?item=5&player=00%3A04%3A20%3A05%3A05%3A00

I noticed that when we used 'song' as a search type (as per old style) that is
made for some funny results from the search. I forgot the even the old style
search now uses $ds api. 'track' is the right type to be using. This patch
should fix the problem.

kp,

Dan just checked in the patch, so it should be working now.
Comment 4 Kevin Pearsall 2005-03-08 14:36:02 UTC
just updated svn on my mac to 2369, but now when i try to search by clicking the
search button (and not using the javascript thing), it comes up with nothing.

i'm not using svn on my machine at home right now though, i'll see if i can
update it today and try it again (or try the nightly tomorrow)

There are 536 bugs in the database with targets of '---' that were fixed prior to new year 2006. I am setting them to targets of 6.2.1 to keep them from showing up in my queries.
