Bugzilla – Bug 9696
SqueezePlay fails to launch in PowerPC Mac OS X 10.5
Last modified: 2008-10-24 08:37:35 UTC
Steps to Reproduce: 1. Get the SqueezePlay dmg. 2. Double click it. 3. The image is dd'ed successfully. 4. A window should pop up with a SqueezeBox icon with a label "SqueezePlay". 5. Double click the SB icon. 6. The Mac's screen flashes a little bit, for less than .5 of a second. 7. Wait a little. 8. Notice a message box would pop up saying the app failed unexpectedly and the OS is not affected.
Created attachment 4127 [details] Log from the Mac.
This app works on Mac OS X 10.4.7 with Intel chip.
"works" in the last message means it was dd'ed and launched successfully, and "English" can be selected.
Wallace can you get the mac system log output (start the Utilities/console app) and filter on squeezeplay
Created attachment 4128 [details] Log by running SqueezePlay on terminal. It says something about NSQuickDrawView being deprecated, and switching to Quartz. Very interesting.
