This started as a thread here: http://forums.slimdevices.com/showthread.php?p=348762 Using the CLI I change the alarm sound of a player before connecting it to SN and then stopping the local SC server (system suspend-to-ram). With a loop:// type sound the alarm is certain to sound if the player is still connected to SN at that time. In case shutdown time is too close from the alarm update, there is no snSyncUp event to SN, and the safe sound is not set in SN. In order not to block the suspend process, I would need a way to explicitly trigger a sync with SN for 1 (or all) player. TIA !
