Description Julius Dauz 2008-10-08 15:24:22 UTC
It is possible to Save an MP3Tunes created playlist to your Squeezenetwork Favorites, but they will not play from Favorites. They will however play from MP3Tunes > Playlists.

I was unsure whether to file this as a bug or an enhancement, so I just decided to file it as a bug.

Julius, do you know what version this was reported with? Also, is this using the player UI, or the web ui, or what? Thanks!

This is using the player ui, by navigating (for instance) to "MP3Tunes->Playlists->Newest Tracks" and then pressing and holding "Favorites" on remote.

My Squeezebox is version 3, firmware 112 and my player reports this information about Squeezenetwork "SS: r23371, SN: r4695".

Hope this helps,
Lars Persson Fink (original reporter of the bug)

I tried again today and I still could not get it to work, I got a different error message when I tried to play my favourite "NO ITEMS FOUND IN PLAYLIST". And I saw that SN version had been bumped up a bit to SS:r23736, SN:r4978. But it still did not work.

Would this functionality be dependent on the type or version of the player?

Andy, could you please advice on how I should proceed in this matter.

Since it works for you and not for me, then there is not a problem with either Squeezenetwork or MP3Tunes. This leads me to the conclusion that this problem is something that is related to my account, either on Squeezenetwork or on MP3Tunes.

If there is something wrong with my Squeezenetwork account, then I need to file a new bug or reopen this bug.

If there is nothing wrong with my Squeezenetwork account, then there is something wrong with my MP3Tunes account. In this case I would be grateful if you could confirm this, so that I proceed with MP3Tunes support. Any information that would help with debugging would be appreciated.
