Description Sue Chastain 2008-10-07 14:57:14 UTC
Please enable browsing from favorites. Currently, when you add something to favorites like a playlist, genre, album, or artist, all you can do from favorites is play it. I would like to have the ability to browse items from favorites, so favorites can be used more like bookmarks, or shortcuts to, well... my favorite items.

See the linked forum thread for more explanation.

bug #10259 is perhaps loosely related to this, in that when bookmarking artist, the item may not be unique.

If the favorite was browsable, this would be a big help as you could at least then navigate to the correct artist to find/play albums.

It works, but only when a favourite exists at the top level of favourites.

As soon as I move items into a folder and browse the folder, it reverts back to the old behaviour.

Also in WebUI, I see images for the favourite items at the top-level (when Favourites node is expanded), but browsing into Home > Favourites doesn't show the artwork.

Thanks - fixed.

That's an independent issue, has always been like this. Correct? Happens with radio stations, too.
