Bugzilla – Bug 9617
"Repeat current song" repeats next track initally
Last modified: 2009-07-31 10:30:28 UTC
My daughter found this bug and I was able to reproduce this .... The initial Rhapsody track doesn't repeat when you select "Repeat current song". That repeat command affects the subsequent track instead. It works fine on later Rhapsody tracks, but just seems to not work on the initial Rhapsody track selected. Reproduction steps: 1. First turn on a SB3, either connected to SC7.2 or SN. Seen in both situations. 2. Navigate directly to Rhapsody via Music Services->Rhapsody->My Library->Artists->(Artist)->(Album). In my daughter's case, Artist=Rodney Atkins and Album=If You're Going Through Hell. 3. Press the PLAY button on the SB3 remote to play the whole album. 4. While the album is playing, navigate down to track 8 "Invisibly Shaken" and press the PLAY button. 5. While track 8 is playing, press REPEAT on the remote until "Repeat current song" is selected. 6. Wait until track 8 finishes playing. Track 9 will then start playing instead of the chosen track 8.
Mickey, you logged this against 7.2 - is that correct? Also, is it possible that the repeat-mode change is made only during the last 10s of the track?
Definitely seen on SC 7.2. Also, repeat song was turned on using a SB3 remote immediately after the track started. Have never tried it right before the end of the track.
I cannot reproduce this with 7.3
Assigning to QA to verify.
Using Mickey's steps on 7.2.1 I find the SB3 displays the track it should be repeating, but it's actually playing the next song in queue. Not reproducible with 7.3.
Great! My daughter's been asking about this bug regularly. I'll relay the news. Thanks for checking.
