Scenerio:

Pandora -Sitting in front of my stereo on my couch, using my laptop, and I have the SqueezeNetwork page open

Desire:

To control more than just stop/play/forward and thumbs up thumbs down on the Pandora page. It would be nice if you had more complete Pandora functionality through that page for those of us who primarily use the squeezebox controller to run the show but occasionally want to use the laptop and its full functionality to make it all go.

Not until SN gets a new web UI.  For now, if you want to control via the web I suggest you install and use SC 7.2.
