Description Max Spicer 2008-09-23 13:58:04 UTC
It seems that for some people, when setting the alarm time via the player ui, the format is always in am/pm, despite the time format being set to hh:mm. The same applies when tapping snooze to find the time of the next alarm. I don't see this when connected to SqueezeCenter, so it's possible this is a SqueezeNetwork bug.

Additionally, the controller alarm time setting always prompts for the alarm time in am/pm format. I can confirm this bit.

Need qa to help pin this one down. More details in the forum thread.

double check the server timeformat pref vs the datetime plugin timeformat pref. INPUT.Time uses server pref ( I think it's the ONLY thing that does now). Time display for snooze use uses the datetime plugin formatting.

BUG 9368 related in any way?
Comment 3 Michael Herger 2008-09-25 06:12:26 UTC
bug 9368 was a web UI (JavaScript) only bug. This one's most likely about the server being run on an american system, and alarm not taking per client format settings into account (SN only).

S::B::I::Time and/or S::U::DateTime need some client->timezone awareness

change 23305 - please test. Might need to connect to test.sn.com later today, when the change is rolled out to SN.

Please re-open if you find this still broken.
Comment 7 Ross Levine 2008-11-20 18:57:45 UTC
Verified to be fixed on test.sn
