Description Weldon Matt 2008-09-18 13:36:48 UTC
The Duet installation instructions refer to a "download squeezecenter button" that can be found on squeezenetwork.com. The button doesn't exist. This problem discovered by Brian Dils during user testing.

Solution:

Add a "download squeezecenter" button in the top-level menu area that directs the user to the slimdevices.com SC download page.

Login should NOT be required to see this button.

Engineering requests a mockup. I don't know if you do this, Matt or if Brian needs to do this or what. Thanks!

We could just add another link after the "Home | Browse | ..." menu line?

Since this is a quick fix, I think your solution is fine for now Michael. Hopefully users can find it..

I think having a link on the menu line is ok, as long as it doesn't get lost on the page. Can we make it a little more obvious?

change 4600 - add the download link to the top menu. Anything fancier can be designed for the new skin.
