Steps to Reproduce: 1. Install the office release SC build of 7.2. 2. Open a telnet window. 3. Type "$sMacAddress info total genres ?". 4. Notice the response is "$sMacAddress info total genres %3F". This is not what the "Technical Information" page says. In the example, the tech into page says : Examples: Request: "info total genres ?<LF>" Response: "info total genres 18<LF>" 5. Try "songs ?" and other variables. They all return "%3F".
"%3F" is the question mark escaped - so this is just the cli copying back to you what you sent - i.e. it did not match the correct syntax. The command: info total songs ? should work as long as you do not include the client at the start of it. Its important to only include the client id when the command includes it - otherwise you get no response.
Thank you, Triode1. Will run the tests again without the player ID. This bug as written ios not valid. Marking as such.
