Bugzilla – Bug 9457
ReadyNAS: Upload(install) failed.
Last modified: 2009-07-31 10:29:45 UTC
Note: This bug was found by running Matt's script, and confirmed manually. System Info: ReadyNAS Duo already has SqueezeCenter Version: 7.2 - 22900 @ Tue Aug 26 11:25:48 PDT 2008 - Netgear RAIDiator - EN - utf8 Server IP address: Perl Version: 5.8.8 sparc-linux MySQL Version: 5.0.24a-Debian_3.infrant1 Steps to Reproduce: 1. Download SqueezeCenter_7.3~23118.bin. 2. Start the ReadyNAS system web interface. 3. Follow the usual install addons process: System->Update->Local->Browse to the bin->Verify and upload. 4. Notice after about 7 minutes, a dialogbox pops up saying "Local file upload failed". 5. This is the same process that installed 7.2 SC, from the same local directory also.
Just tried SC 7.3~23122.bin. Still does not work. Basically, ReadyNAS verifies the bin file before allowing users to update the system. Looks like the bin file is not passing the verification.
Steven, can you work with Wallace to get this fixed?
Wallace, I was able to upload and install today's 7.3 nightly without a hitch. The ReadyNAS I am using has version 4.1.3 and the nightly was SqueezeCenter_7.3~23203.bin. Are you able to successfully install the 7.2 release? Have you updated the ReadyNAS to 4.1.3?
Tried with builds SqueezeCenter_7.2.1~23190.bin and SqueezeCenter_7.3~23191.bin. Both bins were installed on th4e ReadyNAS successfully. Bug as written is no longer seen. Can someone mark this as fixed?
Bug is no longer reproducible. Marking as "VERIFIED".
