Audio playback on the SqueezeboxController has been pushed from SC7.2 to SC7.3
Starting a bug, to give people the opportunity to vote for this waited for feature, and track progress.

Audio playback works with squeezeplay on ix86, is it alot more work to have it come out as a plugin or beta for arm/controller ?

We'll set a target for this when we review the bugs as a group.

Audio playback is now supported as a beta for the 7.3 release.

Note this is not feature complete, the following things are missing:
- native wma support
- rhapsody
- SqueezeNetwork support

These features will be added in a later release.

This bug has been fixed in the 7.3.0 release version of SqueezeCenter!

Please download the new version from http://www.slimdevices.com/su_downloads.html if you haven't already.  

If you are still experiencing this problem, feel free to reopen the bug with your new comments and we'll have another look.
