When clicking the "browse" button under Squeezecenter>Settings>Basic Settings>Music folder, the pop-up does not contain any content. I think it has to do with the SQL server installation but wanted to run it by you all...I have attached logs and screen shot:

Kyle: please don't attach ZIP files, just attach the images and logs.

Was this an upgrade from 7.1 or 7.2 (release) or a fresh install
Where is your Music located? (Local drive/directory or remove drive / NAS)

------
Ross: are you able to validate this issue with 7.2 NS code
Comment 5 Michael Herger 2008-09-08 14:25:03 UTC
Please update to the latest 7.2.1 or 7.3 build. This issue should be fixed. NS doesn't exist any more, it's now in 7.3.
Comment 6 Kyle Champlin 2008-09-09 21:05:33 UTC
Music is located on local drive at the following directory:
\home\kyle\Music

I have upgraded to the newest "stable test release" and now the interface is no longer showing up. I did an apt-get remove --purge slimserver & apt-get remove --purge squeezecenter and then updated my apt repositories and reinstalled...now it looks like the apparmor issue may be back (or it just never really went away, I just would manually kill it most of the time).

this is the log after I did an update to squeezecenter. I have also tried uninstalling and reinstallign mysql 5
Comment 8 Kyle Champlin 2008-09-12 17:47:45 UTC
so I did a purge of the last install and also checked the app armor issue and it looks like I can browse to the squeezecenter configuration webpage...but I still can't browse to my music folder.
>Settings>Basic Settings>Music Folder>Browse...pop up comes up, but it does not allow me to browse to my music folder.

Here's the log entries as of today:
2008-09-12 17:38:52 squeezecenter_safe started.

> pop up comes up, but it does not allow me to browse to my music folder.

Does this mean you still haven an empty window, or you can't browse to your folder? If it's the latter, than I'd bet it's a permissions issue: the squeezecenter user very likely doesn't have permission to access your personal home directory.
Comment 12 Kyle Champlin 2008-10-08 09:27:10 UTC
Window pops up and is empty.
Comment 13 Michael Herger 2008-10-08 23:37:48 UTC
What browser are you using? Can you reproduce it using any other browser? Do you see JavaScript errors in your browser? Any messages in server.log the very moment you open that window?
Comment 14 Ross Levine 2008-11-12 16:11:07 UTC
Kyle do you still see this with 7.2.1? How about 7.3? I've never seen this.
Comment 15 Michael Herger 2008-12-11 22:42:11 UTC
Kyle - please re-open if you can reproduce this issue on the latest 7.3 build. Thanks!
