Description Jim McAtee 2008-08-29 22:34:57 UTC
When the MyRadio plugin is disabled, the 'Internet Radio' link on the home menu is lost, so the 'Tune In URL' ability is also lost. I assume 'Tune In URL' doesn't depend on MyRadio.

On linux, I've had MyRadio disabled since it first was introduced. The WebUI Internet Radio and Tune In functions remain fully intact and operational. Must either be an interaction with some other setting or it's platform dependent.

Are you using some other 3rd party plugins? Do you see this issue in all skins/UIs?

No third party plugins.

> Do you see this issue in all skins

Just the Default skin.

> UIs?

It's also missing from the remote UI. Under player Settings > Menus, 'Internet Radio' is shown and there's a total of 8 menu items, but in the actual UI there are only 7 items in the menu (1 of 7, 2 of 7, etc.).

I just realized something about my setup: I've disabled all the other radio options as well - Radiotime, Staff Picks, etc. Perhaps the Internet Radio menu item is suppressed when everything _except_ Tune In URL is removed and is the only thing remaining. Is there a test somewhere that is trying to see whether the radio menu is empty, but doesn't account for the Tune in URL item? Wasn't Tune In URL moved there from the top level?

Bingo, that must be it. Will investigate. Thanks!

I just realized that I never tested to see if the problem is also fixed in the remote UI. Was that also verified by QA? It looks like change 23139 addressed the issue only in the web interface.

This bug has been fixed in the 7.3.0 release version of SqueezeCenter!

Please download the new version from http://www.slimdevices.com/su_downloads.html if you haven't already.

If you are still experiencing this problem, feel free to reopen the bug with your new comments and we'll have another look.
