Description Andy Grundman 2008-08-29 15:02:50 UTC
Make some simple changes to improve memory usage:

Auto-disable MusicIP/iTunes plugins after setup if they aren't being used.

Enable Digital Input/Line-in plugins on demand once you connect a player that supports those.
Comment 1 Andy Grundman 2008-08-29 15:04:20 UTC
Only load Slim::Hardware::mas35x9 if you connect an SB1.
Comment 2 Andy Grundman 2008-08-29 15:14:32 UTC
Avoid loading PAR (and with it the huge File::Find) unless it's needed for unpacking a plugin.
Comment 3 Andy Grundman 2008-08-31 10:14:01 UTC
Stream static files out to the network, don't slurp them completely into memory.
Comment 4 Andy Grundman 2008-09-02 11:45:20 UTC
All of the above changes made (except Digital Input/Line-In, which don't use much memory anyway).

This bug has been fixed in the 7.3.0 release version of SqueezeCenter!

Please download the new version from http://www.slimdevices.com/su_downloads.html if you haven't already.

If you are still experiencing this problem, feel free to reopen the bug with your new comments and we'll have another look.
