With kdf's Extended Alarm Plugin now deprecated I would like to see some of the plugin's useful features in the new alarm.

Named alarms: Allow users to name their alarms.
Particularly useful if different alarms on one Squeezebox are used by different people.
Alarms can be easily assigned to a person.
The risk of overwriting someone else's alarm is minimized.

Don't see any reason why alarms shouldn't have a rename feature.  Would it make sense to just do this in the web ui?

I agree - being able to name it "Daily" or "Weekend" or something along those lines would avoid confusion.

Another customer is inquiring about the ability to name Alarms. I feel that when this enhancement is fulfilled, it should be on SqueezeCenter, as well as SqueezeNetwork.
