Description Peter Watkins 2008-08-25 19:50:22 UTC
Every other audio pref slider is louder to the right, quieter to the left. 0 dB of attenuation for the preamp volume control should be represented by the slider being all the way to the right. Users should move the slider left to increase attenuation and make the output more quiet.

James, I still see the slider move to the right to decrease preamp volume in SqueezeCenter Version: 7.2.1 - 23502. Do you see something different?

I also think it should be shown as a negative number.

Michael, would this be a UI issue?
Comment 4 Michael Herger 2008-10-15 12:04:41 UTC
The question is whether we want to do this or not. Unfortunately there's no simple solution to implementing it, or I would have done it long ago. It will be low priority to me. Bigger fish to fry.
