There's an invalid character in the feed that information browser displays: http://www.rollingstone.com/rssxml/music_news.xml

Browsers seem ok with this, but the mechanism used to decode xml within SqueezeCenter throws it out with this error message.

The character is in the middle of the story on "The Decade of the Dude" - lets hope the problem goes away once this story is removed from the rss feed.

Verified this is still an issue with 7.3
Comment 3 Adrian Smith 2008-10-21 11:30:49 UTC
This is the same error - which is Squeezecentre's XML parser failing to read this sites XML.

The feed fails a validation check:

http://validator.w3.org/check?uri=http://www.rollingstone.com/rssxml/music_news.xml&charset=(detect+automatically)&doctype=Inline&group=0

James - I suggest you raise this with rollingstone.com as this is not the first time they have included invalid xml in their feed. As it is a default feed for SqueezeCenter it is worth following up.

This was an intermittent error. We have no relationship with them.
