I have recurring intermittent problems using both SoftSqueeze andSqueezeBoxes. I navigate to the Artists listing, and it is empty. But it is not:

Directory Scan   (1  of  1)   Complete  00:00:13
Playlist Scan   (24  of  24)   Complete  00:00:05
Merge Various Artists   (3138  of  3138)   Complete  00:00:27
Database Cleanup #1   (37505  of  37505)   Complete  00:00:12
Database Cleanup #2   (  of  )   Complete  00:00:19
Database Optimize   (  of  )   Complete  00:01:00
SqueezeCenter has finished scanning your music collection.00:02:16

Restarting SoftSqueeze does not seem to fix this either.

Could you please upload server.log and scanner.log (paths can be found in Settings/Status)

This is from the Mac. The previous one from Linux. But the failure was with the Mac server

Does it fix itself usually, some time after the scan completes?

Yes, eventually it is better. I rescan every night. I am pretty dure the entries are in the db. I think the list is not getting sent properly to the player.

Can you try with the latest 7.2.1 nightly to see if this issue has been addressed in that version?

So far, so good. It seemed to be triggered when the server redid the database. Somehow it does not repopulate the data on the squeezebox after that I think.
