Description Philip Meyer 2008-08-23 09:35:23 UTC
MusicIP playlists can be imported, but if I delete the playlist from MIP and rescan, it is not removed from SC. I can't manually delete from SC either.

SVN 22859

Wouldn't it disappear even with a full wipe/rescan?
Comment 2 Philip Meyer 2008-08-25 05:42:40 UTC
Must admit I didn't think to do a full rescan (I try not to do those too often).

You're probably right - probably won't be there after a full rescan.

Full scan fixes the issue. Update scans might even add dupes when you rename playlists.

change 23281 - please test. Thanks!

A SqueezeCenter scan doesn't appear to be pulling in MusicIP playlists any more :(

I am using SC7.3 with the MusicIP plugin setting "Use MusicIP" set to "Only read mixable status from MusicIP" - this should still import playlists.

As I can't get any MusicIP playlists into SC, I can't test that this bug will remove them when they are deleted from MusicIP!

Does your patched 7.2 version still import playlists?
Comment 7 Philip Meyer 2008-09-25 11:55:05 UTC
Yes, I'm sure my original patch in 7.2 did.

Actually, I just looked through my scanner log, and I can see that it has tried to export standard playlists from MusicIP into SqueezeCenter:

[17:38:55.8857] Slim::Plugin::MusicMagic::Importer::initPlugin (95) Testing for API on localhost:10002
[17:38:55.8897] Slim::Plugin::MusicMagic::Importer::initPlugin (104) MusicIP Mixer. Version 1.9
[17:38:55.8904] Slim::Plugin::MusicMagic::Importer::useMusicMagic (74) Using musicip: MusicIP Mixer. Version 1.9
[17:38:55.9165] Slim::Plugin::MusicMagic::Importer::exportPlaylists (509) Got playlist Favorite Songs Mix with 50 items
[17:38:56.3750] Slim::Plugin::MusicMagic::Importer::exportPlaylists (509) Got playlist Favourite Songs with 13 items
[17:38:56.4601] Slim::Plugin::MusicMagic::Importer::exportPlaylists (509) Got playlist Mix with 50 items
[17:38:56.8315] Slim::Plugin::MusicMagic::Importer::doneScanning (169) Done Scanning

I have three playlists in MusicIP: "Favourite Songs", "Favorite Songs Mix" and "Mix". The plugin has detected all three playlists and that they have items in them, but after the scan has completed, I don't see the playlists in Browse Playlists.

change 23324 - one more musicip/musicmagic confusion to be fixed. Please test. Thanks!

This bug has been fixed in the 7.3.0 release version of SqueezeCenter!

Please download the new version from http://www.slimdevices.com/su_downloads.html if you haven't already.

If you are still experiencing this problem, feel free to reopen the bug with your new comments and we'll have another look.
