Last modified: 2009-09-08 09:17:38 UTC
Customer in the Netherlands reports that after upgrading to 7.1 he cannot listen to his podcasts. From the report: "Error: Unvallid Channel" [sic] http://download.omroep.nl/rvu/simeksnachts/ http://www.radiocast.nl/?sct=flt&flt=omroep&id=19 http://www.rvu.nl/podcast.php?feed=simek He was able to listen to these podcasts before." = = = I tried loading the first into SC 7.2 and it would not load. Error= "Invalid Feed - Invalid XML feed" RN# 080718-002347
We got a report like this informally in the Customer Experience review today. Any idea?

BUG 9130 may be related
*** Bug 9130 has been marked as a duplicate of this bug. ***
Created attachment 3863 [details] Log file adding and attempting to play a podcast. I used http://www.rvu.nl/podcast.php?feed=simek when creating this log. I navigated to Settings > Podcasts and entered the above url into the dialog and clicked apply. The url was added and listed as "Simek 's Nachts" without issue. I then navigated to Home > Podcasts > Simek 's Nachts and a large number of Podcasts were listed. I clicked play on the last one titled "Johnny Kraaijkamp jr en Marjan Berk" and i got the error on the player no items found in playlist. One thing to note is if I navigate to Home > Podcasts > Simek 's Nachts > Johnny Kraaijkamp jr en Marjan Berk I am able to download the mp3 to the desktop using the link provided.
Yep, 2 bugs here: The mp3 link uses a 307 redirect which we didn't support. The RSS feed is also missing a type attribute for the media, which we didn't handle either. Fixed in 7.2 change 22848. BTW, the first 2 links in the first post are not RSS feeds.
