RN ticket # 080820-000518

Basic Summary

Customer upgraded to 7.1 and does not get prompted to upgrade firmware on the Controller. Firmware on the Receiver is 36

Everytime we try to force a software upgrade on the Controller it fails immediately.

Anoop: That thread indicates that he's using 7.3. Is this the same customer?

Also, do we have other customers experiencing this?
Comment 3 Anoop Mehta 2008-08-20 13:48:17 UTC
Dean: No that is a different customer...I just came across that thread so I though I would add it as another point of reference.

We do have other customers experiencing this but they are all different in exactly how they are experiencing this.

For example this customer cannot get firmware on his controller to auto upgrade.

Some customers get teh auto upgrade but fail after they select upgrade.

All in all the main issue in my eyes is that the firmware fails to upgrade.

Ross: Can you work with Anoop to gather the details together and create distinct bugs for each failure mode?

Thank you; would you also please ask if the customer has any other wireless access points or anything else on the network out of the ordinary? Anything that might help us to reproduce this.
