Description Dan Evans 2008-08-19 10:19:41 UTC
I have a case where after upgrading to r2722 the Controller will not connect to SqueezeNetwork now. (related bug 9208)

He upgrade to r2722 which created trouble with him connected to his router. So we reverted to having connnect via Bridged mode, which works. But he cannot get the Controller connected to SN now. The Receiver succeeds in connecting.

QA to reproduce
Comment 2 Blackketter Dean 2008-08-20 11:58:01 UTC
Also, Dan, do you have a ticket number with additional information (router type, etc...)
Comment 3 Ross Levine 2008-09-18 14:17:38 UTC
I haven't been able to reproduce this. Dan can you please get the usual networking specifics?
Comment 4 Dan Evans 2008-09-19 12:47:32 UTC
I don't think we're going to get any further useful information on this one. The customer has actually solved the problem on his own by reconfiguring his router. (see bug 9208)

I recommend we close this for now.

This bug needs additional investigation. Support has identified it as one of their major issues. Please work with Dan to find info to reproduce.
Comment 6 Ross Levine 2009-02-11 13:42:57 UTC
Bug 11020 is a router specific symptom of this bug.
Comment 7 Ross Levine 2009-05-29 18:03:25 UTC
I created a test case for this in Tesly under SqueezeOS - 802.11. Does anyone feel this could have anything to do with bug 11984 (db replication)?

Dan can you give me any repro steps or networking configurations to test? Is your team still seeing this?
Comment 9 Dan Evans 2009-06-22 16:55:52 UTC
I think we got our wires crossed. This was not one of the high-priority Jive bugs. We've done a lot of work chasing this kind of failure down in other bugs where we have better data.

Let's close this as a one-off, rather than representative of a global issue.

Thanks.
