Customer has a Duet receiver 
When he turns off the receiver the digital output does not go off.
He has checked the (Disable Outputs when off) option from the Player->Audio setting.

The customer indicated this option worked for him under 7.0 and 7.0.1, but not under 7.1

I tried to locate an older bug, but I could not find it, so forgive me guys for repeating the issue.
