Bugzilla – Bug 9154
When displaying 'large' artwork, certain info tags should be cut short...
Last modified: 2009-09-08 09:20:40 UTC
I've got a few albums with very long artist tags... these should be cut short with a "..." to preserve the look of the Web UI. Attached is an example...

Michael: Any way to limit this to a maximum of, say, 4 lines of text?
Your display is missing some artwork (rounded corners). But that's not the issue here. Don't buy compilations. Ahm... I could cut off the length (not the number of lines - depends on the browser). But this will discriminate artists further down the list. Is this ok?
Would you want to make this a preference?
Created attachment 3818 [details] display a maximum of three contributors per album in large cover view change 22733
Created attachment 3819 [details] stick with the full contributors list in small artwork view
It's now hard-coded to three contributors. Please re-open if you'd like to have this user-configurable.
Did you apply this to a branch of SC? I don't see it yet in my version of SC 7.2... (nightly)
This is a 7.3 change. See comment #5.
