Description Darren Lloyd 2008-08-14 05:31:05 UTC
I have a Transporter, and this issue has been apparent since the release of SqueezeCenter. (It always worked OK with SlimServer up until the last release).

Currently running SqueezeCenter Version: 7.1 - 22170 on Debian Etch. This was a completely fresh OS install for Etch when switching from SlimServer to SqueezeCenter (not an upgrade from 6.x to 7.x).

From the SqueezeCenter Web interface, navigate to the Player Settings for the Transporter.

For the left-hand display, select Now Playing. I always use Progress Bar with Remaining Time.

So for the first dropdown/radio button I select this option. I then set all of the other dropdown's to Nothing. Click to apply.

Now on the Transporter the very first time that I press Now Playing on the remote, I get Progress Bar with Remaining Time as expected. However after subsequent use of Now Playing on the remote, the Progress Bar with Remaining Time is 'lost'.

When I go back into the Transporter Settings in the SqueezeCenter Web interface, one of the radio buttons next to the 'Nothing' dropdowns is selected.

This works fine, and always has worked fine, when setting the right-hand display to Analogue VU, and all of the other drop downs to 'Nothing'.

As I say, this always worked for Now Playing up until the release of SqueezeCenter.

Could you please provide a screenshot of your settings? I'm not sure I understand how you configure the display.

Darren - any news?

According to PM this seems to be working as designed: "Nothing" means there won't be a progress bar displayed. Pressing Now Playing repeatedly will toggle through your settings - which are once with progress bar, many times without. The "Nothing" setting is not the same as selecting nothing ;-).

Thanks for the feedback.
