Description Julius Dauz 2008-08-08 16:47:02 UTC
A customer requested the following of SqueezeCenter.

Need a way to connect the movements of a classical piece so that
shuffle play plays them together and in order.
---- Currently one can shuffle by song (ie-track) or by album,
which works fine for most nonclassical music. But suppose I want to
shuffle among classical pieces, some of which have two or more
movements. And when it plays a classical piece, I want it to play all
the the movements of that piece, in order. No way to do that right
now. Shuffling by tracks will mix the movements from different
pieces. Shuffling by album will play them in the right order, but
since an album may contain several classical pieces I'm not really
shuffling pieces - I'll always get the same ones in the album in the
same order.

I think there have been similar requests to "link" tracks for non-classical music. Such as, when playing random, always link "The Load Out/Stay" or "Brain Damage/Eclipse", etc.
