Description Julius Dauz 2008-08-04 13:29:13 UTC
A customer requested in an email to have us change what is displayed when adjusting volume on a Transporter from "DB" to "dB".
Comment 1 KDF 2008-08-04 14:26:11 UTC
colour me confused. I see dB on mine.

Hi KDF,

Thanks for your response.

I have checked and for sure MY Transporter shows Capital D, Capital B if I raise or lower the volume control.

I am running 7.1 squeeze center with V50 firmware on the Transporter.

Its not a big issue but as an audiophile product I would like to see corrected.

as it should be "dB" not "DB".

Is there an option I have missed ????

Cheers,

Andy.

right, I see. My setup uses the alternate vol display via the Music Info Screensaver (much nicer imo). Plus, for the standard volume display it's specific to Font setting. The "standard" font (set via settings->player->display) uses an all upper case font for the top row. Using the "light" or "full" font will show the text in natural case.

Sadly, nothing else I can offer as a third party contrib here, so I'll have to pass on the assignment.

The font is all uppercase. The user can tweak their font size to see it mixed case.
