Description y360 2008-08-03 14:30:48 UTC
The listing of artists under Home > Rhapsody > My Library > Artists
is split into separate pages numbered 1 2 3 etc with 50 artists in each page

The request is to either list the artists in a single page (like SN does, which the best option IMHO), or else provide alphabetical keys to the page headers instead of numbers so that the artists' name range that each page contains can be realized
Comment 1 y360 2008-08-03 14:32:58 UTC
So for example instead of page headers 1 2 3 we will have page headers a-c d-g g-k

Andy: Can you take a look at this request, and give it a proper milestone.
Comment 3 Andy Grundman 2008-08-04 07:18:41 UTC
OK, for OPML lists that are known to be sorted, it would be possible to use an alpha page bar instead of an items-per-page numeric bar. I'll see if I can fit this in for 7.3.
Comment 4 y360 2008-08-06 11:26:08 UTC
Same holds for
Home > SHOUTcast Internet Radio > SHOUTcast Internet Radio - By Genre

Perhaps another solution would be to introduce a new user-defined setting items_per_page with a default of 50
Setting it to a large number would effectively list all items in a single page like in SN

Settings -> Interface -> Items Per Page.
Comment 6 y360 2008-08-06 11:33:59 UTC
Thanks, that works...

We are now planning to make a 7.3.3 release. Please review your bugs (all marked open against 7.3.3) to see if they can be fixed in the next few weeks, or if they should be retargeted for 7.4 or future.

Thanks!
Comment 8 Chris Owens 2009-03-30 17:30:05 UTC
Since there's now a planned 7.3.3 release, bugs which won't make the cut-off are being moved to the next target out. If you feel that this bug needs to be addressed more (or less) urgently than the 7.4 release, please cc chris@slimdevices.com and leave a comment in the bug to that effect so we can review it.

Thanks.

For some reason Bugzilla did not change the target when I did this yesterday. Or maybe it was me. In either case, I'm trying it again.
