Description Osama Zaidan 2008-07-31 18:13:22 UTC
Customer has MAC 10.5, every times he shuts the computer and restart it the SC 7.1 scanner rescan the entire library.

The scan takes about two hours to finish, which is annoying to the customer.

The customer knows SqueezeCenter does offer the ability to stop a rescan. But if he does, nothing in his iTunes catalog is available through SqueezeCenter.

set itunes rescan interval to 0 as itunes updates play counts if you use it, triggering sc rescan.

Osama: please try KDF's suggestion, let us know if this fixes the customers issue, if not please attach scanner logs and re-assign the bug to QA

The customer reported that KDF’s suggestion worked for him.

Seems like this was an iTunes configuration issue.

Please reopen if there's something that additionally needs to be fixed.
