Description Bryan Alton 2008-07-30 15:36:02 UTC
Rev 22251.

When creating a new alarm using Boom and wheel/remote 2 entries in Favories playliost appear selected as ther alarm playlist. The WebUI has only one playlost entry but not the one selected when alarm created.

1. Make sure you have a number of Favorites
2. Create a new alarm.
3. Set the time - get message "Alarm created"
4. Go to Alarm Playlist - Select Favorites - Select First entry shown
5. Go back to the Alarm Playlist and reselect Favorites - scroll down through Favorites - First and last entries are both indicated as selected. Last item is actually in the alarm entry.

I was testing alarm and the Favorites entry I had selected was deliberately an non-playing URL. It looks like there is some checking happening as this URL cannot be selected as an Alarm playlist using WebUI.

This sort of error checking should be produce a message.

However two playlist entries still should not show as selected even if one is a bad URL.

QA to also check this out, but maybe Max knows something about this one.

New to me. I'll try and reproduce.
Comment 4 Max Spicer 2008-08-07 08:54:58 UTC
I can not reproduce this. I tried using a saved rss feed as a favourite and also a track that no longer exists on the file system. At no point could I make anything other than the correct entry appear as selected.

Agreed - some recent code changes must have fixed it.
When I have a bad URL (i.e. not playable) as a favorite ( http://steady.somafm.com:8507 ) - the bad Favorite now doesn't even show when adding alarms whereas before it used to show up in the list of Favorites.
