Description Bruno Fernandes 2008-07-29 14:42:47 UTC
Issue:
While the seek/scanner (FFWD/REW) UI is active, the volume UI will not display.

Steps to reproduce (using the remote):
1. With a track playing, press and hold either the FFWD or REW button until the seek/scanner UI/bar is displayed
2. Release the FFWD/REW button
3. Press (or press and hold) the Volume + or - button
4. Note the display flickers quickly between the two fighting UI elements
5. The seek/scanner UI stays active and volume bar is not displayed

Desired behavior:
When Volume is pressed, remove the seek/scanner UI and display the volume UI. And when the volume UI times out, return the display to what it was before the seek/scan UI (likely Now Playing)

I think we should schedule this to be fixed in 7.2 as I am changing the way volume works for this. I agree this is the desired operation.

Just to be clear, triode, are you saying you have a fix in mind for this?
Comment 4 Chris Owens 2008-08-04 13:01:32 UTC
Thanks triode for reminding me this fix is in a private branch and will be merged in before the release.

Verified to be working in 7.2.1 - 23472.
