Description Dan Evans 2008-07-29 10:59:48 UTC
With the release of the latest versions of SC and SN, the menu structure changed on SqueezeNetwork. The option to switch to "SqueezeCenter" has gone missing. This is proving to be confusing and irritating to customers and Support is getting calls and e-mails.
Comment 1 Michael Herger 2008-07-29 12:03:00 UTC
Andy - is this a change which has to be done in SC, as SN is now based on SC?
Comment 2 Andy Grundman 2008-07-29 12:14:38 UTC
Dean needs to make the call since it was his UI decision. Also do we put the last "SqueezeNetwork" item back in SC too?

If we do this, what meaning does the Music Source menu have then? Most people don't run multiple local servers, so does it have a use anymore?
Comment 3 Blackketter Dean 2008-07-29 14:18:48 UTC
I think we're going to have to add this back in for now, as folks are confused. It's not fully baked.

Let's leave the Music Source menu as is, but...

Andy: Can you put it back on the home menu on SN

Michael: Can you add the SqueezeNetwork item back in on the home menu. Folks should be able to customize their home menu to remove it.

Brian is reviewing the SN/SC switching UI and we'll fix it when he has some recommendations.
