Description Max Spicer 2008-07-28 14:17:40 UTC
The alarm clock currently offers a default volume option, which allows the user to define a volume level that will be used for all alarms. Each alarm then has an option to use this default, or an option to select a separate volume level for that particular alarm.

Dean mentioned a while back that maybe this should instead be replaced with a per-alarm option to use a specified volume level or to just use the current volume (assumedly at the time the alarm goes off).

There's been no feedback since so is this still desired? I can try and get it done ASAP if needed, but I'd rather know it was wanted first.

Michael and I like it as it is, by the way.
Comment 2 Jim McAtee 2008-07-29 16:40:52 UTC
I think this possiblility should be ruled out, given that the user might have the volume turned down very low without intending it to affect the alarm then next morning.

Current thinking is to simply have one volume setting for all alarms. See bug 8954.
