Bugzilla – Bug 8870
Screen shows 9 digit number momentarily when adjusting treble, bass, or volume
Last modified: 2008-09-04 14:35:32 UTC
On Boom FW19 connected to SC 7.2 July 25 (non new streaming), the visual indicator for Bass, Treble and Volume are momentarily strange with a bizarre value next the title. For example, on the Boom display if you pick Settings->Audio->Bass, you'll momentarily see "BASS (117144140)" and then it will switch to display "BASS (0)". The bar indicator below it will briefly show the bar filled to the right and then revert back to showing zero too.
This is a server side problem -- maybe kdf or somebody knows best.
Didn't see it with SC7.2 22140 Jul 27 version. Dunno why.
I saw this too, verified it did not happen with previous builds.
svn update -r 22060 ok svn update -r 22075 ok svn update -r 22090 ok svn update -r 22110 not ok svn update -r 22100 not ok svn update -r 22095 ok svn update -r 22097 ok svn update -r 22098 ok svn update -r 22099 not ok so change 22099 buggered it (which was merged from 22098)
Not sure I can reproduce this - (tried on 22171) What values do you have treble/bass set to and is this the first time you access them or every time.
When it does happen, it happens every time. It's always a different big number for any of these settings. My value for bass and treble are always set to zero. I've not tried changing the value of the setting to see how they affect this bug. I must have changed the volume setting, but I don't know what happened.
Could you enable player.display debugging and post what it shows?
it was bad at 22100. it's fine now at 22185
Verified fix in r22
verified fixed in 7.2 release
