This could also work in the web interface but would it would be even nicer in the remote ui.  I would venture that the vast majority of users normally use a "random songs" mix when using Random Mode, so it would be nice if you didn't have to descend another menu level and could just play random songs from the 'Random Mix' choice in the browse menu.  I can't tell you how many times I've hit the 'Play' button at that point only to realize that I need to go to the next menu level.

I'm the album listener, using the Random Album much more often. I've therefore added Random Album to my favorites.

If you're worried about that, then it could be made a little more complex.  You could save the last mode played in Random Mode and use that.  Default to random songs.
