Bugzilla – Bug 8828
FLACs with cuesheets not working in 7.3 branch
Last modified: 2009-07-31 10:25:08 UTC
After switching to new streaming branch, FLACs with embedded cue sheets are not working. Switching back to the boom branch fixes the problem, so it seems to be directly related to the new streaming work. I have my albums encoded as whole-album FLACs with embedded cue sheet. I am able to start playing the first track in the album. The track plays OK until some seconds before the transition to the second track, then the playback stops. Also, any other tracks than the first track in the album will not start to play when browsing to such a track and hit play.
I don't know who this belongs to.
I had downloaded SqueezeCenter 7.3-23529 and notice this problem also, but I see this problem on SB3 and SoftSqueeze. I also don't have embedded cue sheets, but separate flac and cue files. The behavior is the same though, it plays thru most of the first song in an album, then stops. Moving back to SC 7.2.1 alleviates the problem.
Changing title to reflect present status. You loose one tester of all the great new features in 7.3 branch until this issue is fixed...
Fixed for the flac-flac case (streaming in flac) in change 23727. More work required for other output formats.
flac-> mp3 fixed with with change 23758
