Description James Richardson 2008-07-18 14:21:17 UTC
When attempting to connect my Transporter to a server that had it's IP address change, I received the "waking up SqueezeCenter..." message, then the transporter froze up.

Holding down the power button did not do anything, I had to remove power to get the device to function again.

This happened when switching from test.SN to SC via the setup menu

1) connect a Transporter to a local SC
2) connect to test.sn
3) change the IP address of the local SC
4) hold down the left arrow (back) on the IR remote
5) select the last local SC by name
6) notice it will attempt to connect, pressing any button will then switch the message to "waking up SqueezeCenter..." at which point the device is locked.

Button 'left' should have gotten you back to setup. 'Power' will always attempt to send a WOL packet.

That said, the behavior of WOL has been reverted so players always will learn the correct SC ip address again automatically.

See bug: 7594 (fixed for 7.2)
