Since we don't have a brightness button, I suggest a Firmware Update setting (in the top level of Settings) that is visible when boom doesn't have the latest fw available on SN.  Inside that it should look like:

Firmware Update (1 of 2)
Cancel

or 

Firmware Update (2 of 2)
Upgrade to version 24

Going right into the second item will start the fw update process.

It would also be cool to be able to know that the Boom hasn't connected to SC and automatically push fw updates, for folks who just use the device on SN.

Hmm, we don't do this for Ray, so why do it for Boom?

Good point.  We should probably add this for Ray (via SBC) too.

Boom's a bit more important, because we expect people to buy it more frequently as a standalone radio.

This can probably be a post-7.2 item, as for 7.2 we will be forcing a firmware upgrade.
