Found by Fletch and reported in forums. I've reproduced this behavior as well:

1) If I enter the Track Info screen by pressing go from the NPSS, the NPSS never reactivates.  It just stays on the Info Page.  This works correctly when pressing go from the NP screen.

This bug has now been fixed in the 7.1 release version of SqueezeCenter!  Please download the new version from http://www.slimdevices.com if you haven't already.

This bug has been fixed in the 7.3.0 release version of SqueezeCenter!
